Surrogate Referral Program

The Surrogacy Co. Referral Program pays $3,000 to Referral Partners and $5,000 to approved Recruiters for each qualifying surrogate they introduce who receives medical clearance. Bonuses are paid separately and never reduce the surrogate's own compensation or benefits.

Ethical Connections. Clear Expectations.

The strongest referrals begin with trust. Our program recognizes the people who connect prospective surrogates with The Surrogacy Co., a boutique agency founded by a two-time surrogate. It is built on authentic relationships, education, and honest conversation, never pressure or sales-style recruiting. A good referral leaves a prospective surrogate feeling informed, respected, and free to decide whether she wants to learn more or apply.

Two Ways to Participate

Our biggest priority is a safe, successful journey for every surrogate and every family, and our vetting process takes the time it needs. Because a bonus is earned at medical clearance, a referral may take a while to move through screening, and we think that care is worth it. We look forward to working with the people who want to connect potential surrogates with The Surrogacy Co.

Referral Partners

Referral Partners are not expected to recruit, screen, educate, or follow up for the agency. If you know someone who might be a great fit, make the introduction and let her decide from there.

Recruiters

Recruiters take a more active role, sourcing, educating, and supporting prospective surrogates as they explore the journey. To join and stay in the Recruiter track you must:

  • Apply and be approved by The Surrogacy Co., and complete any required onboarding

  • Follow our approved recruiting and communication standards

  • Disclose your relationship with The Surrogacy Co.

  • Generate at least six qualified surrogate referrals in each rolling 12-month period

You must be an approved Recruiter when a candidate is first referred to earn the $5,000 Recruiter bonus.

How the referral program works

We’ve created a set of guidelines to protect the surrogates you refer, the families we serve, and you. The Surrogacy Co. makes the final decision on referral eligibility and credit.

What counts as a referral

  • New candidates only. Someone already in our database, who applied before, or who was already in touch with us generally does not qualify, unless we approve an exception in writing.

  • A genuine connection. A comment on a public post, a tag, or a claim made after she has already reached out does not establish a referral on its own.

  • No self-referrals.

  • Documentation.

Bonuses are not paid for incomplete applications, candidates who do not receive medical clearance, unverified, disputed, or duplicate referrals, or referrals obtained through misleading or prohibited conduct. We may ask for payment and tax documentation before a bonus is issued. To see who may qualify as a surrogate, review the surrogate requirements.

What we ask of you

  • Be open about your connection to The Surrogacy Co. and any potential referral bonus.

  • Listen first, respect boundaries, and keep conversations supportive and low-pressure.

  • Share your experiences truthfully, use clear and accurate language, check before answering when unsure, and point her to our team for detailed questions.

What we never allow

  • Pressuring, guilting, shaming, or repeatedly pursuing someone, using fear-based or manipulative tactics, or creating false urgency.

  • Guaranteeing or exaggerating acceptance, matching, medical clearance, compensation, timelines, or how easy the process is.

  • Speaking negatively or deceptively about another agency, clinic, attorney, professional, intended parent, or surrogate.

  • Spam, mass unsolicited messaging, or harassment.

Privacy and professional advice

Surrogacy involves deeply personal information. Participants never share private conversations, medical details, or journey information without permission, never ask for medical records, government ID, passwords, or sensitive financial information, and never give medical, legal, insurance, tax, or contract advice. Those questions go straight to our team.

“As a first-time surrogate, I can't imagine going through this with a larger agency. The support I've had from Jenna is next level. I always had my questions answered, and knew she was just a call or text away. I was always checked in on and never felt alone!”

— Laura, surrogate in Ohio
